I like the author's style of writing, but I was not a big fan of the main character. She was pretty annoying at times. I really enjoyed some of the other characters though and that kept me going. This is a typical conservative romance with a few added twists||
Christner has written a novel about the Mennonites that is rich in detail without being overbearing. The characters are well written and believable. The main female character is unsympathetic at times, but redeems herself in the end.
Katy Yoder loves her Mennonite traditions. But when she takes on a temporary job as a nanny she finds herself forced to bend a few rules from helping her charges take notes on a contemporary sitcom to ferrying them to dance classes.
