Galishoff|This is a terrific commentary that will edify Christians at all levels. It is highly readable yet offers deep insights grounded in the best scholarship and pastoral insights. It is not a technical commentary yet I found myself challenged and "hitting the books" for further study. It was an absolute joy to read and I commend it highly to anyon||"Somewhere along the way the idea developed that commentaries are supposed to be a resource, but are not necessarily very readable. Derek Thomas and his treatment of Acts defy convention. Here you have a most readable, insightful, and enjoyable book for all. .
